Skin boosters are injectable hyaluronic acid-based treatments (like Profhilo, Jalupro, Ejal40, Lumi PRO) that hydrate, restores skin structure and stimulates collagen production from within. Unlike fillers, they focus on skin quality rather than volume, giving a dewy, rejuvenated glow.
Which Areas can be treated?
Full face, neck, décolleté, hands, under-eyes (Lumi Eyes), lips (Lumi Lips), and young eyes (Jalupro Young Eyes). Packages for 2–3 sessions available.
Who is the Treatment Ideally for?
Adults 25+ with dehydration, dullness, fine lines, or early ageing. Ideal for preventive care or mature skin seeking natural hydration. All genders/skin types.
Downtime
None to minimal – slight redness or bumps resolve in 24 hours.
What to Expect during the Treatment
A 20–30 minute session with tiny injections (numbing cream optional). Feels like pinpricks; no discomfort for most.
What to Expect after the Treatment
Immediate plumpness; any swelling peaks at 24 hours and resolves quickly. Final results in 1–2 weeks, lasting 6–18 months depending on area. Minor bruising may occur, however will fade in a few days.
Things you should / should not do prior to Treatment
Do: Arrive with clean skin; inform me of medications or allergies. Hydrate well.
Don't: Take blood-thinners (aspirin, fish oil) 48 hours before; avoid alcohol 24 hours prior.
Contraindications
Not suitable if pregnant/breastfeeding, have allergies to HA, active infections, autoimmune diseases, or under 18.
Aftercare
Avoid makeup/saunas/sun for 24 hours. Hydrate well; use gentle skincare. Follow-up session in 2-4 weeks depending on product for best results.
